MEDUSA IN TANANGER

I went to one of my favorite spots in Tananger, Norway, to take some photos of the seaside landscapes. I was intrigued by the color palette in the surroundings and took some reference photos to start working on a new artpiece. While my painting style is more surreal than realistic, I like to find inspiration in elements that tell a story. The presence of the ocean and Norwegian coast comes through in the composition. It is a large format acrylic on canvas painting and I titled it "MEDUSA". Hope you enjoy the inspo and result!
